Ah, thanks for the validation! And I'm so sorry - nothing like family for being really good at being invalidating!

Ugh - more haboob?? You guys are getting slammed!

The wine is open and flowing here.

Anywhere you get waited on sounds good to me.
Glad to hear DD is home. Oy, you poor thing! May I recommend Tahiti? May I join you?

Yes you may! On both counts.....I think we need a CD Mom's Who Rock get away. Tahiti sounds like just the place. I'm guessing there are hot gods there handing out drinks.

AC is welcome to join us, providing he is willing to giggle.

I hear you, that's tough.

Awesome - I was just thinking "Field Trip!!" We should definitely get some giggling AC to join us in imbibing tropical cocktails from a steady stream of hot gods.

ETA: My Tahiti pics are stored on a different computer (still not unpacked), but if I can get to them I'll post some landscape shots. IMO, the most beautiful place on the planet. I harbor fantasies of moving there and selling seashell necklaces on the beach.

The office called while I was heading inside to see if I could find him. He had gotten on the bus, then got off the bus and went out the wrong door, didn't see me, so he went to the office. So this saved no time, and caused some stress. It did, in the end, save $1.00 bus fee. I wonder if I should have just had him ride the bus. I would have no problem driving home and walking to the stop before he got there.
DS couldn't handle frequent changes till 4th grade, he just could not remember.

Thanks, Zim.

How is all with the nutty moms down there? Any more emails that make you want to smack your head against a wall or are they giving it a rest for the weekend?

Hehe! No, all's quiet down here. I'm usually pretty good at intimidating people too, I obviously have work to do on my withering stare!

How long ago is it since you stopped working? I found transitioning hard, especially out of high-intensity environments.

Did you guys see AC put himself on the Ridiculist? Said he was giggling like a 13 year-old girl at a Justin Bieber concert.
