I decided to clean out the attic---the easy way---tossing everything out the window!
Hubby has been nice enough to take over at ground level to move the crap from the yard to the garbage area.
So far, six huge lawn garbage bags full of stuff and a few large boxes have been tossed three stories down.
I want to toss old electronics out the window too, but fear it will cause a bigger mess in the yard.
Tons of books too. I hesitate to toss books out the window but the thought of carrying them down so many flights of stairs (two inside and one outside) tempts me.
I got the organization bug a few weeks ago, and re-did my kitchen cabinet. I wonder how many more weeks will go by before I stop opening the wrong cabinet looking for a glass.
Hubby says I can't throw the electronics out the window, nothing that will splatter everywhere into a million peices. Guess hubby will be carrying that stuff down for me! LOL
At least he sounds onboard with the purge Hopes. I am pretty sure DH has every single computer we have ever owned stored in the original boxes. Drives me crazy!
We don't have bulk pickup in our area. So we either have to take everything to the recycling place, and hope they accept it, or hire a dumpster. PIA.

We have bulk pickup. And every few months the local school has a round-up just for old electronics. Horrible mistake to ask DH to go with me to drop off an old TV. He took one look at what people were trashing (like a couple old amps that were probably somebody's grandpa's ) and he was ready to drop off our TV and take home six other thing in its place.

Love it!
