I suppose. But if OP's area is anything like mine, there are very little jobs to be found - even part time ones.
YEP!
I all but threatened places for jobs since January.
I applied at Panera, a food place here. They would tell me they would call and then i'd call back after the time for them to call came and went and i'd get told oh well ill take a message for so and so to get back to you and then I wouldnt hear anything and I would call again and finally get the right person they brought me in for 3 interviews total after losing my stuff the first time. Then I would repeat the them not calling me when they said they would and playing a massive game of phone tag. I went after that job for a month and a half. Finally I quit trying. Making food for 8/hr is not worth it.
I am so glad I found the job I have now.
I just wish that I could find a second one.
I want a second job but people in hell want ice water.
Tension headaches make it feel like someone just beat you about the head with an asp and then stuck a knife through it?
Yes, some tension headaches feel exactly like that. And in fact, there is another type of headache that is often confused with migraines, and is actually much worse than a migraine - it's called a cluster headache. A migraine comes with a myriad of symptoms, pain being only one of them, and sometimes when you have a migraine you don't even experience the pain part of it.
Tension headaches a frequently combined with muscle tension and sharp pains in the back of the neck, the lower back, and one or both arms, feeling like pinched nerves.
Cluster headaches is searing white-hot blinding pain starting behind the eyes and extending back to the base of the skull. It feels a little like you would imagine it feeling, if someone taped your eyelids open and then dipped you upside down in a vat of bleach.
With all respect to Txtqueen she is dreaming on becoming a cop.
Based upon her posts I see where she would not pass the physical/health questionaire.
There are certain standards that have to be met in order to qualify....let alone complete the academy. I considered the sheriffs dept and took the test but failed the height needs. Checked with a city police dept but at the time was not a US citizen. Can't win them all.
Interesting thread but a little waste of time considering the drawbacks.

Mmmm cluster headache sounds more like what I experience.
Its only ever starts behind my eyes and hurts in that whole side of my head.
Once it was so bad I cried and begged my mom to take me to the ER and have them sedate me. I actually felt like I was going to die.

I have back pain.
Other than that I can pass everything. I am physically fit enough to pass the test. I have passed it before in the JR academy I went through, same PT test and everything. So pfffttt.
And this is a back injury, as in I can heal from it, as in by the time I go to the real police academy I'll be in super great awesometastic condition to do so.
And there are no height requirements for the departments I am applying to.
I'm 5'3'' and 130 im hella tiny, ever wrestle with someone my size? Its like wrestling a greased pig....
Plus I am double jointed and have hyper extensive muscles so I bend like none other...
Imagine wrestling a 5'3'' greased gumby...
