Stop putting off that dental visit. Be true to your teeth or they'll be false to you.

Bonus tip: Take a moment today to honor the troops in some way. If you see a person in uniform, be sure to say thank you. Not only is that the right thing to do, it also lifts your spirit when you remember to honor a holiday's proper meaning.

Tip of The Day features ideas I hear about--not always ones I've tried. They sound good to me in theory and who knows--some of them (hopefully most of them) may be brilliant. Anyway, the point of this thread is to start some fun conversations. By all means jump in and add jokes, comments, and even your own tips, if you'd like.

I will certainly take a moment to honor our fallen soldiers today.

Good tip,Normie. If we don't remember our teeth for that dental visit, they will all be gone....

I'm awaiting a root canal and crown on Wed. I'm in dire dire pain. You are right - don't neglect your teeth or they will kick your butt with pain.

Two things are on my bucket list...

live long enough to see my granddaughter grow up

then die in my sleep with my own teeth still in my mouth

The first one I work on by trying to stay healthy. The second one I visit the dentist every 3 months to have my teeth cleaned.

Speaking about hot dentists.....

"My dental hygienist is so cute that every time I visit, I eat a whole package of Oreo cookies while waiting in the lobby. Sometimes she has to cancel the rest of the afternoon's appointments."

This is sooooooooo true. It's cheaper to maintain them than to replace them.
