Had to go to the DMV today. The line was a real PITA, but finally got through it. 2 1/2 hours of standing in line, 5 minutes to hand over the paperwork and have my newest photo taken. Mission accomplished but I sure wish they could handle this online. At least I went with a few girl friends, so we had someone to talk to.
I need to look for a summer job now that the semester's up.
I already applied to one place so far today, I have two more to finish, then I gotta take em back.
I really need to call the garbage company and tell them how nice it was of their workers to drop my can down sideways and crush the little begonias we just put in over the weekend. Very nice of them, since they carried my fat a$$ed neighbor's up her driveway while she instructed them about getting the gigantic television picked up and demolished that was in her front yard.
Maybe this should go in the stress and venting thread?
I really need to clean the house, put it off the past couple of days.
I'm cleaning my living room in steps. Last week I cleaned all 25 of my Lego skyscrapers, many of which go from the floor to the ceiling. Needed a small step ladder to get to the tops of some of them. Hadn't done that in over a year. It's always a delicate project. I'd hate to have one of my 160 story skyscrapers topple over on me while cleaning the spires.
Next step, the living room blinds. Then vaccum the floor, which I haven't done in, yes, a couple of years. Why? I never use the living room.
The blinds today, vacuum the next day. Clean the walls, the next day.
