What possessions do you have that you are the most sentimental about?

And why(?).......if you want to share!

My class ring. I attend a reunion every year and always wear my class ring to it. Most of my childhood friends no longer have their class rings so mine is really special to me.

I have a picture of my mum and dad in their earlier days that she used to carry in her wallet. They looked so young it used to amaze me.
A molcajete that was over a 100 years old when my grandmother had it and she died in '79. It's so well used it's worn smooth. The only thing left I have of hers.
And I somehow managed to keep a green rosary bracelet my eldest sister gave me when I was a child. It didn't get lost or traded off to one of my other sisters. It's probably 40 yrs. old. Damn, I'm getting old!

I've already handed down to my youngest son my grandfather's gold railroad watch and my shot gun that was my dad's. I can't think of any thing else I really value other than some old coins that are made of silver. If anything comes to mind I'll share later. One other thing when I find where it got packed is an old WWII bullet that my dad to the powder out of that I played with as one of my earliest memories.

Pictures, including ones of the 4 leggers, and of course those projects the kids made for us in school, and the cards I saved that they made or bought and the inscriptions inside. Things that I have acquired that I wanted for some time can bring it on too.

My Army Dress Uniform from over 50 years ago.

Because it was an important part my life and I want to hand it down to the grandchildren for historical reasons.

Marble/wrought iron table that was my grandparents and have formal pictures from the 20's of them on it.

Mr. L has a 36" brass porthole from a lighthouse that he cherishes and wants to make a table out of it.

I have a cameo ring that has a history to it.

My grandfather worked on the old electric trains and found a cameo stickpin. He had it made into a ring for my grandmother. I'm the third woman in our family to have it.
