I wonder if these people could be one in the same. I can’t take being around a person who bathes in perfume, and if in a work area will say something. Several perfume types make it hard to breath, and I think it is worst than body odor. As for BO, I don’t come across too many cases of body odor these days. What interest me, unless things have changed in the last few years, are the parts of the world where deodorant is not used. These areas don’t find BO offensive and question the health benefits of using chemicals to control natural human odors. They may be right, but for me I still want my two showers a day, and like the no smell environment.

Only had the opportunity 1 time to work and be around an individual that constantly had BO. That was the most foul, grossest smell that turned my stomach, fact just thinking about it makes me remember now I'll need to wait a second to drink my coffee pert near like a horror film
Same people that swing their teeth....he doesn't use deodorant. One day My daughter says to me was blank blank here. I said yeah why? She said cuz the sofa smelled. Where ever he sits.....he leaves an odor.
we don't visit much anymore cuz I told my hubby I can't stand it. Last time was 2 years ago and I had to bring a can of febreeze. Didn't work. DH had to take the pillow and shove it under the bed.
Haven't been back since.
What gets me is his wife has a big mouth and wouldn't hesitate to tell you if you were stinking up her house and making everyone deathly ill. I am dying to say "how can you stand this"? Instead I just don't go anymore.

The other day was people who over-douse in cologne and perfume.
Today--people who do not believe in the power of bath soap and deodorant.
Oh I SO agree with you there. Some people just cant understand why no one wants to be around them closely...maybe they should think about it. And sometimes deodorant alone isnt enough, its just a cover-up for sweat (and not a very good one when combined with it), they actually need to use an anti-perspirant.
I also worked with someone who had this problem and she was the receptionist!! First person people made contact with then they walked in the office!! We tried everything, hints, talks (like interventions), even a make-over but to no avail.

Hmmm.... maybe I should switch brands of bath soaps.. I've been using Ajax, Lysol, Pinesol, and Clorox for a while and I never had any problems... I've also been using Airwick deodorant for a while and that seems to be working pretty good..
I agree! It's bad enough when you have to smell your own stench... not to mention somebody else's.
