Howdy Karla & company no snow delay today but they canceled school because of a heavy dense fog! This is the 4th day they will have to make up now.

When was the last time you "Rattled someones cage " or at least wanted to ?
Right now I would like to go to Yahoo and do that then take names! I can't sign in on my Yahoo account says my ID is not registered. Try to create a new account says my ID is taken. Contact Yahoo many, many times they say I must go to the page I can't access and contact that page's owner! Even copying & pasting their page hasn't cleared this up now over 3 weeks. Been a member & mod of a couple of groups for over 10 years.

What is your "Snow removal method of choice
You kids ?
Child labor for porch & steps with a shovel

Other _____ ?
Farmer up the road brings his big tractor and scoop to keep me cleared usually in the winters. His pay is baked goods or I take meals down to them at times. If he didn't do that we have a big John Deere garden tractor I have a snow blade I can have attached to it.

Have you ever made Snow Ice cream ?
Yes but tend to stay away from yellow flavors like lemon.

Are you ticklish ? No

Have you ever played Croquet ?
Yep we have a set

When was the last time you "Rattled someones cage " or at least wanted to ?

This morning in the Computer Forum. And yes, I did.

Bonus Question:

suggested by Jaxson

Lets talk about snow removal !!!

What is your "Snow removal method of choice
Shovel ? If it's less than 4"
Snow blower ? If I do it and it's deeper than 4"
You kids ?
Pay someone to make it go away ? I now do this if it's 4" or more. I decided to this after a few "strong" hints from Mrs. Tek.
Other _____ ?

Have you ever made Snow Ice cream ? All the time when we were kids. Now it's tough to find "clean" snow.

Extra Credit Question:

Are you ticklish ? Oh yeah!
All over or one specific spot like your feet ? Ribs and feet mostly.

Just for Fun:

Have you ever played Croquet ? All the time when we were little. One occasion as an adult.

Today in History:
1878 - Frederick W. Thayer, the captain of the Harvard University Baseball Club, patented the now-familiar, baseball catcher’s mask (pat # 200,358)
1879 - 1st artificial ice rink in North America (Madison Square Garden, New York City)
1880 - The National Croquet League was organized in Philadelphia, PA
1964 - Beatles 1st New York City concert at Carnegie Hall
1984 - Cale Yarborough, becomes 1st Daytona 500 qualifier, above 200 MPH

We experienced quietus mortgageus a few years back.

Babble

Worked two installs yesterday. Didn't get them finished because both are either waiting for more software or hardware, and one is also waiting for the client to return from Washington DC. She gave up this week. Planes are not flying out. Luckily she owns a condo there.

Worked on the server some. Started copying files to it and got the KVM switch working so I only need one keyboard, mouse and monitor for both my desktop and the server. Pretty neat set up. You tap the scroll lock twice and it switches between computers.

More snow coming. We are getting conflicting reports on how much. So I guess I'll go with the lower estimate.

Mrs. Tek had a root canal this morning. She's not a happy camper today.

Everyone have a good TGIF.

Good afternoon everyone from the northern Atlanta suburbs. We are waiting on the snow. From what I see on the news it is around middle Georgia, which is funny! Some of these places rarely even see flakes.

I am trying to end the week on a calm, positive note so I will be like the famous fictional character from my state, Scarlett O'Hara, and think about the cage rattling on another day.

Snow removal method of choice: whoo hoo! This is one thing that I have never had to worry about. Honest! I have always lived in the southeast and have never, ever shoveled or had to make arrangements for shoveling a driveway. We would always be out of work and the sun, etc would melt the snow by the time we went back to work. I have parked on the street if I had a steep driveway. In one neighborhood that was very hilly some people used to park at the top of a hill and walk up. My boss told me just to wait until I felt it was safe to come back to work. Good boss!

Snow cream -- yummy! The last time I made this was in Chattanooga. My neighbors loved it. Just the snow, evaporated milk (Carnation or Pet), vanilla and sugar.

The ticklish question is a deep, dark secret.

I used to play croquet a lot when I was a kid and I think the wood set is in the basement. I know that I have decorated with the set at some point!

Quietus was one of my father's favorite words. He owned a dime store and was very colorful. I am going to rack my poor little stressed brain and try to think of some examples for later.

Update: we are seeing some fine flakes in Atlanta. It's starting to snow pretty hard now but it's too warm to stick -- 38 degrees.

When was the last time you "Rattled someones cage " or at least wanted to ? It's been awhile since I did, and I don't any more. Ya never know how unstable a person might be, so it's not a good idea to antagonize those types.

Shovel ? Yes
Snow blower ?

Have you ever made Snow Ice cream ? Yes, 2 days ago, with the old crank type ice cream maker. I showed those grandkids a thing or two and they did all the work.

Let's see, I always use a snow blower.. in July in Phoenix... - Actually, I used a plain shovel to clear snow from a short walkway to my apartment when I lived in Oregon for a little over year in the mid 1990s.

Extra Credit Question:

Are you ticklish ?
That depends on what you tickle.. - No I'm not ticklish.

I stopped doing that after they kicked me off the field.. I thought you're supposed to swing the mallet.. or whatever that's called, like a golf club to hit the ball.. - I also thought Croquet.. Croaked a few decades ago..
