it seems between the ages of 25 to 50 is when folks screw up their lives the most. This comes from all of the work I've done in social services and talking to others in social services.

This is not a fact but a end result of dealing with hundreds of people and talking to others that deal with hundreds of people.

Is this the stage in life in which we Know It All? What's your take on this?

I personally like dealing with children more so than adults. Adults just overwhelm me to much. I like to keep things simple and it's tough to do that when other adults enter the equation.

Adults will get mad it you don't speak to them and then want a explanation as to why you did not speak. That gets old fast........Why is it the this particular age group makes things more complicated?

Have you ever talked to someone that's 85 years old? They give you simple wisdom but yet profound.

Hmm... I'm slap bang in the middle of the 'danger zone'. I live a very uncomplicated life and don't work too hard to keep it that way. When you grow up with nothing, you don't need much of anything. Some folks will probably dispute that, but for me it's true.

No this is the age we THINK we know it all, but find out the hard way we don't.

I like life more now that I'm in my 40's....better than my 30's...and on down the line.
And I'm sure I'll enjoy my 50's more than my 40's.

Of course we screw things up...it part of the learning process.
By 85...you just don't care about the small stuff anymore.

Twenty-five years is a pretty big stretch of time.
Lots of opportunity for messing things up.

Even during the prime of life, the odds are in a person's favor that something is going to happen, no matter how conservative or methodical they are.

I've actually seen a lot of people over 50 make some ridiculous moves.
Sometimes this happens when a person sees more road behind them than in front of them.

If you don't make mistakes in life, you can't grow. Live and learn.

I think you have something there. My father used to always say that "if something won't matter in 5 or 10 years, it's not worth getting upset about." The older I get the more, the more I recognize the wisdom of that philosophy.
