It's a sad, sad thing happening............
Heck, they had the Christmas aisle next to the Halloween merchandise where I live.....!!!

It's all about the cha-ching ....

I remember Christmas advertisement didn't start till the day after Thanksgiving.... then they slowly started putting out Christmas stuff during Thanksgiving and now it is out during Halloween..... Yep, it's all about the cha-ching....

With the economy in as bad a shape as it is any little extra revenue I'm sure is welcome and inventory levels may be at an all time high after Christmas this year....better roll what you got out now and pray for miracles....

Pace yourself and everything will be OK

Decorations have been up for weeks in our big box retailers here. Shops downtown are all decorated. Commercials on TV. This morning on Fox-Santa Claus!!! Come on already-every year gets earlier-next year 4th of July they'll have it out.

I know what you mean...I love Christmas but could definitely do without the commercialization of it.

I predict the following: Before 10 years have passed, xmas decorations will start appearing right after July 4th. Eventually it'll get to the point where they're up all year long.

Just imagine, Jingle Bells and Grandma Got Runned Over by a Reindeer on the Muzak 365 days a year.

I'll slit my throat.
