To all citydata oldies, when did you realize you are no longer Hip?
I know I was never hip when I realized that hip wasn’t cool!
Aaaaayyyyyy ~ it was the Fontz who followed my lead and became a roll model for all of the youth in those days ~ he wasn’t “hip” he was “cool”. Fontzie got the thumb from me however I used my left hand because my right arm was busy with holding my best girl.
I think I first noticed that I was no longer hip when I realized that so many people around me have all these portable devices with them all the time that I don't have and frankly don't care to have (Ipods, Blackberry's, etc.) All I need is my PC, my stereo, and my DVD!!
Health-challenged, Immuno-compromised, and Pissed off about it!!
You tell em Charley! I couldn't rep you on that one.
As far as me, I don't remember ever being hip as you call it. My son says I'm somewhere in the dark ages! But if you want to talk HIPS, mine hurt like h***!

LOL... Don't feel bad Akskarben... Here's that plaid pants picture at Metrocenter...
I realized I was no longer hip (if I ever was in the first place!) when I was reading someone else's post.
She had used <3 in a sentence & I just thought it was a typo. Then I saw <3 again by another poster.
Gave the old brain cells a good scratch & finally got it. Heart. Love.
I <3 that I am not the only CD oldie around here!
Ok, I am going to admit to everyone here how unhip I am.... I had to ask my 16 year old what <3 meant because I didn't get it!
I love to dance and realized how unhip I was when my kids were embarrassed by my dancing at a wedding not too long ago! Oh well, it hasn't stopped me yet!
