Today's Question(s):

What is your absolute favorite recipe of all times ?

Lotsa favorites but one I've been thinking about lately is my chocolate chip coconut cookies. I'm terrible about "following" recipes; to me, they are "suggestions."

Remember give the recipe for all of the Recipe Junkies out there
Take your fav chocolate chip recipe. Substitute 1/4 cup of cocoa powder for 1/4 cup of flour that recipe calls for. Add 4-6 oz (1/2 to 3/4 cup) toasted coconut and 2-4 oz raw coconut (1/4 to 1/2 cup...for a "chewiness") and nuts & chocolate chips of your taste. I use either the "minis" or dark chocolate chips roughly chopped. I also add about 1 extra tsp of vanilla (or sometimes a tsp of coffee extract).

Bonus Question:

Do you use liquid or bar soap in the shower ?

Both

Extra credit Question:

lol I have to ask
How many of you are doing the "Tax Tango" today ?

Did you do your taxes or do you have "people" ?

Just for fun:

Asparagus: Yay or Nay YUM!

Today's Question(s):
What is your absolute favorite recipe of all times ?
Too many to choose from...Plus, I'm not as interested in food until my sense of smell returns! Taste is bitter, salty, sour...that's it. What we think of as our sense of taste is actually the ability to smell, which I have very little of right now.

Bonus Question:
Do you use liquid or bar soap in the shower ?
Bar in the shower. Liquid for washing hands at the sink.

Extra credit Question:
How many of you are doing the "Tax Tango" today ?
Been there, done that. Received and spent the refund.

Did you do your taxes or do you have "people" ?
Do them myself. I can actually understand government forms if I concentrate REAL hard.

Just for fun:
Asparagus: Yay or Nay

I'm gonna have to go with something inbetween which is more of a phmay (?). They're okay if they're prepared properly, but best if eaten the same day. I don't like the flavor they take on if left a day or two.

What is your high temp expected for today ?
Was 65 yesterday, haven't checked it yet today. It almost seems to think it's still winter, yesterday's high was 54, a not atypical winter temp for this neck of the woods.

Today in History:
1738 - Bottle opener invented finally, all those hundreds of years of bottles can be opened
1955 - Ray Kroc starts McDonald's chain of fast food restaurants in Illinois he bought out the McDonald bros. in California
1952 - Franklin National Bank issues 1st bank credit card they're the culprits...
