What I'm starting to find irriating is posters who use programming syntax in their post. I'm like WTF, I have some programming experience in my background, but most people don't, so I could imagine someone reading a post and wondering why the hell people put those "funny" characters where they wouldn't belong in standard English.
Examples such as //end rant or <! comments>
Are these people trying to show how smart they are.
While checking at the bookstore and the library today I couldn’t find the “ONE” book that I wanted. It’s special order and more bucks than I want to pay. I do know of an old used book store that might have a copy ,,,,, so maybe I’ll check there in a week or so.
I'm not sure which thread to post this on. I had to get more copies of the flyer printed today to put out at the For Sale sign. That means we haven't sold yet, (Stress & Venting) but it also means people are still looking at it (Good News)

I tend to be a very lazy book shopper. The last few years, I just get on Powells.com and slowly wade through the sections, any order over $100, shipping is free.
^^ There’s more to life the online. It’s fun to enter a store and smell the books, turn the pages, and feel the stiff covers in your hands. It makes reading the book twice as fun. And a bonus ,,,, you get to visit with others while there , no telling who you’ll run into.

LOL. I don't even know what programming syntax is but when I see things like what you gave as an example I just figure that the poster hit the wrong keys.
I had road rage the other day.
While walking.
I admit, I was being passive-aggressive, but it just irks me to no end when cars roll into the walk zone which forces you to either walk in front of them in the traffic, or behind. Ok, I swear, I won't complain about this again...it's getting old, and I'm getting on my own nerves.
(pssst GloryB, maybe I should rub that nerve medicine on I got in the mail today!)

Oh DON'T even get me started on this! I recall walking in a cross walk with my cart full of groceries and this idiotic driver moved his vehicle in the middle of the crosswalk forcing me towards traffic. I was in the crosswalk before he even pulled up ... the jerk!
Very irritating to be the first car approaching a red light and have to slam on your brakes because the person making a left turn has cut across your lane and nearly taken your front bumper off.
Sure see this a lot in smaller cities/towns.
