So here's one for all of you still tuneless between the ears :
"Mares eat oats, and does eat oats, and Little lambs eat ivy......" [quote]

What a hoot. I love your choice!

Was trying to think one up for my answer since no song came to me but the one Horton sings in the original Horton Hatches An Egg. Called the Hut-Sut Song.

This should you all to the entire cartoon but the song is in the first minute of the film.

YouTube - horton hatches an egg

The real version

Oh yeah. My husband calls a robe a house coat. He's my dinosaur, lol. He also calls a purse a pocketbook.

Howdy all, happy Thursday. The weather here is glorious today so I went to the park, sat on the bench and read my book with lunch. Good times.

Today's Question(s):
How many bathrobes do you have in your closet ?

Two.

Do you have different weight fabrics for the different seasons ?
Absolutely. I have a thin, lightweight one for summer modesty and a big, thick, snuggly-buggly one for winter.

Bonus Question:
What is your expected weather for today?

Going by recent weather, I'd have guessed crap but it's actually turned out beautiful. Yay!

Extra Credit Question:
What song is stuck in your head right now ?

'Ventura Highway' by America. I swear I've been singing it non-stop for about the past week. Still, I can think of worse tunes to have stuck in my head.

Just for Fun:
Whats kind of candy is in your "candy jar" ?

I don't have a candy jar. I'm not really big on it so I don't tend to stockpile it here at home.

What is your favorite soft drink ?
Lucozade Original. I know it's bad for me but it somehow doesn't taste quite as toxic as most of the other ones on the market so I can kid myself that it's actually okay to drink by the gallon.

Snowy and a bit windy.

Stupid jingle from a computer game the kids play. (Funkeys)

Pepsi

My great aunt born in 1886, called a purse a pocket book, a robe was called a house coat, flip flops were beach slippers. linoleum was called oil cloth.

My husband is in his forties and he uses the term house coat for robe. Whenever I hear him say, "house coat", I always feel saying "I'll don my dressing gown!"

I believe a robe is a wrap with a belt to hold it closed where in a HouseCoat is one that zippers or buttons all or most of the way to hold it closed.

Bathrobes?
2 or 3. I don't use them much though. Yes, differerent weights for different season.

Weather expected?
Sunny. Highs in the upper 50's.

Song stuck in head right now?
None, but I do get those pesky "earworms" from time to time!

Candy in candy dish?
I have a candy dish in the living room. More there for "looks" than eating, but it has peppermints in it.

Favorite soft drink?
Diet Coke
