Good Going guys!! Either Mike reallyyyyy didn't know number 3, or he DID but didn't want to let on, since she is (disco) LOL!!
LOL.. If it was Donna Summer, then no I wouldn't have known the answer, besides, what did you expect from somebody who still thinks that Disco Sucks!
Okay, I'll have my own 1970's lyrics trivia, and promise, no cheating by looking them up on Google or Yahoo!
1- Six gun sound is our claim to fame
2- Oooh she's a killing machine she's got everything
3- Maybe tomorrow the good Lord will take you away
4- Well I went and seen the doctor And he gave me the cure
5- Is God just thought within your head or is he part of you
Have fun! And remember, if you cheat... well... I guess you win!
Well, I was not born until 1976, so I do not remember much.
I love the cars of the 70s though and most of the music.
I enjoy a little of the 70s with my favorite 70s songs and owning a couple of 1970s cars.
Nothing special or all that rare, but I have my grandmothers old 1973 Pontiac Grand Ville 4dr thats still in excellent shape and a 1972 Chevy Caprice Estate wagon (with the classic/popular 70s woodgrain paneling trim) that I am restoring....
1973 Pontiac Grand Ville (this was the top of the line Pontiac in 1973) - this car was manufactured in August of 1972, so it was a very early 1973 model)
1972 Chevy Caprice Kingswood Estate wagon (currently under restoration) I have since repaired the rear window - this car was manufactured in December of 1971.
This was my 1972 Buick Electra I had back in 2001... this photo was taken in 2001... hard to believe my place has changed that much... drive is concreted now.
check out that brocade cloth interior that graced the late 60s/early 70s luxury cars...
I sold this car to a guy in South Carolina in 2002.
Just some of my other cars from the 70s I like...
1973 Pontiac Grand Safari wagon
1973 Ford LTD Country Squire wagon
Good pictures of old advertisements, and thanks for sharing them! I remember when the 1973 model year cars came out, I was 16 and still riding my bicycle back then, I saw those hydraulic bumpers that were supposed to absoarb minor impacts of up to 10 or 15 MPH, I thought they made cars much uglier! Especially when the 1974 models came out, and many models also included those bumpers on the rear as well. I don't know they just looked awkward, but I guess I got used to them.
Sounds like some Deep Purple, Highway Star I believe.
I thought about Deep Purple...hmmm...
It's too late to start playing some cds.lol
