I seem to remember October being a more enjoyable month; something transitional, with cooler weather, inspiring trees and a having general mystic feeling overall as a kid. I know this reoccurred, maybe a little less each year, but year after year and somehow it really seems to have really just disappeared the last few years. I don't know if maybe global warming has made this just another month where I am, or if I just out grew it. So, can anyone else relate to this? Just curious.

I had some very good memories during October's past years...seems this month was consumed with politics......but do have nice memories, which will always be with me...

Tonight I took my son out to church for Halloween activities, it was so HOT, hard to enjoy fall when it's 90 degrees, especially on Halloween

Down here on the SE coast we don't really get that brilliant fall weather until November or even December. Our weather has cooled off considerably, and we had a touch of frost a few days ago. But the trees are still mostly green and it's still as humid as ever.

October is a beautiful month. This year the financial news has me glad to begin a new month - one that will get the political campaigns out of my daily life!!

I haven't noticed a difference really. October goes faster and I miss a lot of the leaves changing because I spend most of my time inside, but weather-wise it's really not different to me.
