You needed one more choice, "we were about the same size." My dad and I were the same size.

I achieved the same height as my Dad,
I am taller than my brother + nephews,

My mom was 5'3" and I was 5'3" till I started getting shorter in my old age! I was measured the week before last, when I went in for a bone scan. Now I'm 5'1".

Oh well, at least my bones are in good shape.

My sis was 5'1" and now she's 4'11".

I am taller.
My Mom is 4 foot 11 inches tall and I am 5 foot 7 inches tall.
(Everyone in my Dad's family are taller though, my Dad was over 6 foot tall, and many or most of my cousins on that side are too....even several of the ladies.)

No, I'm not. Male pride or something has made me hesitant to say.

I don't know what I've learned or what I thought I might learn, but I still have the strong belief based on almost nothing that most adult children end up about as tall as their parents of the same sex.

My father was 6"1", athletic, and did not wear glasses, while I was 5'8", unathletic, and wore thick glasses (I say "was" because I have shrunken with age; I'm still alive). My ancestors are a mix of tall & short. The shortest male relative was also the longest-lived.
