Today’s Question:
What is something (whether a sound or other stimuli) that wakes you up earlier in the morning than you had wanted/intended to get up ?
People outside leaving for work.
What is something that has kept you awake later at night than you wanted/intended to stay up ? Fun Trivia - They change the duel game at 2:00A.

Extra Credit:
When it’s a comfortable temperature outdoors at night, do you sleep with the windows open ?
no

Bonus:
When you have some kind of work/project/task that you need to focus on, does listening to music (assuming it’s music of your choosing) help you concentrate, make it easier-or does it distract you, make it more difficult to accomplish the task?
Distracts

Just for Fun:
Can you think of a movie that had music in it (soundtrack) that you liked & found memorable-maybe even moreso than the film itself ?
Out of Africa has the most beautiful music of any movie, in my opinion, but the movie is just very good.

Not much anymore. I get up when I get up.

Worrying about things
Restless legs
A good movie on the TV

Sometimes in the summer if my room is too warm

I rarely listen to music

Today’s Question:
What is something (whether a sound or other stimuli) that wakes you up earlier in the morning than you had wanted/intended to get up ?
Trash/recycling/compost bin collection (emptying) each Tues. morning (those trucks and their mechanisms are quite loud).
What is something that has kept you awake later at night than you wanted/intended to stay up ?
Caffeinated tea after midnight (which I try to avoid that late),
or getting lost in a rabbit hole of something interesting online and then suddenly it's hours later...ooops

Extra Credit:

Yes, though I usually shut the one window that faces highway since that is where most intense volume of noise enters.

There are movies I haven't seen & am not interested in seeing, but have heard soundtrack/score music from, which I very much liked-
a notable example is some of Peter Gabriel's music for the 1980's film "Birdy"...the music is ambient, Brian Eno-esque, and ahead of its time
