Why is that? Why does a long torso make cycling easier?

Also, when you say torso, does that include the neck and head? My inseam leg length to total height ratio is average, but that is skewed because I have a long neck and a long head. My torso is actually proportionally short. I am 6' 1", three inches above average, but all of my height is in my neck and head. So much so that there's lots of other guys who are shorter than me in total height but taller than me in ground to shoulder height.

I have to admit, I have no idea, but I don't think it's the torso so much, as the shorter legs. It could, I suppose, be down to bicycle design, or maybe, wind resistance.

You paint an interesting picture of your make-up, of which, there must be some evolutionary advantage, for something.
