Today's random questions:

What is the best thing or a couple of things you like about living where you live?

Less than 1,500 people in our town
3 cops who walk the beat and stop by during the summer for iced tea on our front porch
...and we love to wake up in the morning to see one of the police cars parked in front of our house, hoping to catch a speeder
Lots of small town parades
We're not more than 3 blocks from the park, post office, bank, deli, ice cream shop, police station, and town hall
We're 15 minutes from the bay, fishing piers, party boats, and seafood restaurants

Something you don't like about it? There's nothing I don't like

What has winter been like in your area? Wonderful! Easy on the oil bill!

Foodie:

What was one of the last sweet treats you had that you really enjoyed? mini cheescake

On the radio...

When was the last time you listened to AM radio? A few years ago

How about FM radio? Today, and every day

Do you listen to satellite radio? No. We tried it once, and I don't see the attraction. Seemed like there were a lot of repeat tunes. Besides, I got an attitude for paying for something I considered a frivolous waste of money

If so for any of the above what programming / genre do you listen to the most?
Good 'ole rock 'n roll!

Thanks John!

Today's random questions:

What is the best thing or a couple of things you like about living where you live?
It is very green, very beautiful, peaceful, lots of trees, very clean, very wooded, clean air, lots of farms
Something you don't like about it?
I would like to see more snow (I know, I am weird!)..but some years we do get a decent amount of snow.

What has winter been like in your area?
Not much of a winter to speak of this year, very little snow.
Foodie:

What was one of the last sweet treats you had that you really enjoyed?
We had ice cream today! Delicious!
On the radio...

When was the last time you listened to AM radio?

How about FM radio?
I am not really a radio listener. I do listen when I ride with my husband...
I think he has it tuned to FM stations...it might be satellite radio though...not for sure.

Do you listen to satellite radio?
I only listen to it in the car, my husband got a new car a couple weeks ago, I think the papers
said that it has Sirius satellite radio...but I am not sure if he activated it, or just does local channels.
We live really close to every thing, so we are usually in the car only 5-10 min. at a go.

If so for any of the above what programming / genre do you listen to the most?
My favorite is oldies....like 60's, 70's, 80's music.

Today's random questions:

What is the best thing or a couple of things you like about living where you live? - Stores, variety of places to eat, quiet, clean,

Something you don't like about it? - Regarding the city - crime in general but I live in a good area.
Strangers asking me for money happens all too often. Traffic can be a nightmare (not in my neighborhood) but I have yet to experience that since I moved here this past September.

What has winter been like in your area? - Milder than usual. We only had about a half inch of snow all winter which is unusual.

Foodie:

What was one of the last sweet treats you had that you really enjoyed? - Chocolate covered raisins bought from a merchant at a Dutch Farmers Market.

On the radio...

When was the last time you listened to AM radio? - Yesterday and every time I am in my car. My favorite radio station is at 1370 on the dial, WQLL. They advertise hits from the 60s, 70s, and 80s and "hit after hit, after hit, after hit...".
I don't like everything they play and they probably need to expand their playlist a little but they will due...

How about FM radio? - Not as often as above.

Do you listen to satellite radio? - No

If so for any of the above what programming / genre do you listen to the most? - Rock and Top 40 from long ago.

Thanks a bunch for the responses!

Guest host next week and we'll see from there...
