No, Most of the time I edit because I didn't like the way the post looked when finished or I notice some dumb error.

Sometimes I'll give the reason. Not often, though.

No, I don't give a reason for editing, because when I say--"I was not paying attention." or "I misspelled." or "I am getting to be a futz."---it makes me sad.
