Do you give a reaason for editing a post?

No, Most of the time I edit because I didn't like the way the post looked when finished or I notice some dumb error.

Sometimes I'll give the reason. Not often, though.

I edit practically every post, and I can't even imagine explaining that I misspelled a word that spell check didn't catch, or I thought using a different word would add clarity. Like, who cares? Or, I said something that sounded really stupid and I don't want anyone to know I said it.

No, I don't give a reason for editing, because when I say--"I was not paying attention." or "I misspelled." or "I am getting to be a futz."---it makes me sad.
