Wow, that was somethin gnu. We were in Massachusettes there for a bit.

Here's a Don's Diner somewhere in Pittsburgh:

https://www.yelp.com/biz/dons-diner-pittsburgh

...and Irvington, New Jersey!:

https://www.yelp.com/biz/dons-diner-irvington

~ What an adventure we had visiting all 3 Dons. They all decided to open diners and they likely don't even know each other.
Which brings us to our final question:

What sort of business would you like to have run at one time or another? Or do you want to do the same as what 3 out of 3 Dons did! Not food. I would have liked to run a women or children's clothing store.

Babbling ducks and clucks alike, have a peaceful, easy weekend...~from roosty for you~

EDITED TO ADD: Looks to me like Don's Diner at the PITTSBURGH location is the big winner here, to me! Yayyyy! Thanks, Don in Pittsburgh!

~ List one body of water...be a little creative...everyone reading our answers later on is hoping to see some more fun answers. Lake Tahoe, 14 hours away by car, but we still go every year.

~ What's your opinion about canned soups? Very few are worth eating, homemade is best (made tomato soup last night with San Marzanos) though some are good to use in cooking other foods, such as Campbells Fiesta Nach Cheese for a chicken recipe we like.

~ Would you ever put a 'bumper sticker' on your car or truck or who knows what it is you're driving? No, I have no urge to advertise for someone else or divulge my opinions to the general public and risk keying by someone with opposing views.

~ How about it? Did ya get ya some corn this crop? Gave up last year after the crows and squirrels proved too difficult to fight.

~ What do you like to do if you have a half a whole roasted turkey? Mmmm, cold turkey sandwiches, turkey with broccoli and cheese sauce.

~ 3 good cheeses are: Blue Cheese, Stilton, Sharp Cheddar.

~ A time that one has to roll the dice: Deciding who to vote for in an election

~ List one body of water...Salton Sea

~ What's your opinion about canned soups? I like homemade soups, however a can of chicken broth goes well with homemade noodles in a pinch.

~ Would you ever put a 'bumper sticker' on your car or truck or who knows what it is you're driving? No it's a problem around here with angry drivers that don't have the same views on a topic.

~ How about it? Did ya get ya some corn this crop? No, the corn was not good this year.

~ What do you like to do if you have a half a whole roasted turkey? I have to wonder what happened to the other half of that poor bird. However we make turkey soup out of the leftovers and freeze most of the goodies.

~ 3 good cheeses are: Swiss, Fontina, Cheddar

Fryday Experimental Restaurant Feature: ...and it's always completely RANDOM! :

Please tell us your order for right now after perusing the menu! Club sandwich please

~ A time that one has to roll the dice: When playing Yahtzee.

~ List one body of water...be a little creative...everyone reading our answers later on is hoping to see some more fun answers. Lake Okeechobee

~ What's your opinion about canned soups? Most contain way too much sodium, and the low-sodium ones don't taste very good. I prefer PJSinger's homemade soups.

~ Would you ever put a 'bumper sticker' on your car or truck or who knows what it is you're driving? I haven't done that in decades, but it's possible I could put a small sticker on a bumper if it said just the right thing. Long ago, I had a small, circular sticker on a bumper that was an emblem for a philanthropic organization I was active in at the time.

~ How about it? How about what? Did ya get ya some corn this crop? I didn't grow corn this year, but some farmers in the Midwest had ruined crops because of the drought. Some others fared much better. Mother Nature ain't fair!

~ What do you like to do if you have a half a whole roasted turkey? Consume most of it and make soup out of the bones and bits left over.

~ 3 good cheeses are: Extra sharp white cheddar; port wine marble; bleu.

Fryday Experimental Restaurant Feature: ...and it's always completely RANDOM! : Hmmmm. How about chicken soup with beer in the broth?

Please tell us your order for right now after perusing the menu! Fried calamari for an appetizer; pan-seared rainbow trout for main course; baby Brussels sprouts and brown rice with almonds as sides. Crème brulee for dessert. [Great. Now I'm hungry. ]

Welcome

Click the link --^ Looks like a great place to eat ~ I would try it. My favorite Mom 'n' Pop restaurant here has been getting me a bit riled this past year, because they keep raising the prices and raising the prices, and I think they're starting to get stingy on portions. If an eatery has to raise the costs or control portions, then that's what you have to do ~ but don't do both!

What sort of business would you like to have run at one time or another? Or do you want to do the same as what 3 out of 3 Dons did! The only business I would ever run is one where I wouldn't have to hire people. And considering how hard it is to start and maintain a business due to bureaucraziness in this state, I wouldn't consider it at all.
