Today's Question(s):
Did you or yours ever comb hair using Brylcreem? Yes back in high school.

What's something besides Brylcreem where, 'a little dab'll do' - does NOT have to be a hair product? Most hair shampoos with conditioners have too much conditioners in them.

An interest you like to dabble in: Genealogy although for a few years it was more than a dabble.

Do you know what a mud dauber is? It's one of several wasps belonging to two different families of wasps. Around here they are a true nuisance, building their mud nests in anything that they come across, water hoses, equipment, tools, buildings, inside walls, and any where else you don't want them.

Someone named Deb or Debbie: Little Debbie cupcakes. I just bought some yesterday.

A place or situation you found yourself "smack dab in the middle of": A car accident several years ago.

Bonus:
Have you called dibs on:
-A seat in a car? Yes.
-A remote control? Yes.
-Food or drinks? Yes.
-Other?

Foodie Questions:
Peanut butter in the jelly or mayo in the mustard.
Have you double dipped spoons or knives in condiments or notice when others do?

How do you feel about double dipping chips and dip? Not too happy when someone does it in a dip at my table.

Do you use or remember:
-Double mint gum? Yes.
-Carefree gum? Yes.
-Big red? Yes. It used to be the official drink of Texas and I still drink it.
-Dentyne? Yes.
-Juicy fruit? Yes.
-Other gum, remind us?

Just for fun:
If you had a double, someone who looked just like you, what sneaky shenanigan might you try - like send him/her as a substitute for you when or where? While I hide, I'd send the poor fool back through the waiting line for reincarnation.

A corollary quote: Many people who overestimate their abilities seem to end up in leadership roles and are unable to see their reflection.

Enjoyed your questions BJH.

If you had a double, someone who looked just like you, what sneaky shenanigan
might you try - like send him/her as a substitute for you when or where? There are days I'd like to sleep in, so I might send her to school in the mornings. A few years ago some friends thought they saw me on the beach in Maine with a Zumba group. They went closer and still thought it was me.

Afternoon all!

Today's Question(s):
Did you or yours ever comb hair using Brylcreem?
I remember seeing it in the medicine cabinet when I was a little kid, but I don't remember seeing anyone use it.

What's something besides Brylcreem where, 'a little dab'll do' - does NOT have to be a hair product?
Hot glue.

An interest you like to dabble in:
Writing.

Do you know what a mud dauber is?
I do. They don't bother me.

Someone named Deb or Debbie:
My sister Bev was called Debbie for the first 40some years of her life, because when she was born, our older sister Linda couldn't say "Bevvie." At some point we all just starting calling Bev by her real name.

A place or situation you found yourself "smack dab in the middle of":
A relationship. The two in the couple started confiding in me their frustrations about each other, and each thought I was keeping secrets (obviously I was) and picking sides (I was not).

Bonus:
Have you called dibs on:
-A seat in a car?
-A remote control?
-Food or drinks? <<< This
-Other? When my mom died, anything "you" purchased for mom, you got dibs on. If you didn't want it, first one to speak up got it.

Foodie Questions:
Peanut butter in the jelly or mayo in the mustard.
Have you double dipped spoons or knives in condiments or notice when others do?
Yeah, I don't care all that much. Sometimes you discover a new favorite flavor!

How do you feel about double dipping chips and dip?
I'm not too worried about that either, unless I really don't know all the dippers.

Do you use or remember:
-Double mint gum? I remember that.
-Carefree gum? I probably chewed that back in the day.
-Big red? Always a favorite!
-Dentyne? Yep, chewed that too.
-Juicy fruit? Chewed lots of this too.
-Other gum, remind us? Beechnut Fruit Stripe.

If you had a double, someone who looked just like you, what sneaky shenanigan
might you try - like send him/her as a substitute for you when or where?
I'm no goody-goody, but I'm not into practical jokes, so I'd probably give this one a pass.

Today's Question(s):
Did you or yours ever comb hair using Brylcreem?
My dad did.

What's something besides Brylcreem where, 'a little dab'll do' - does NOT have to be a hair product?
Toothpaste. The amount shown on commercials is just trying to get you to use it up faster imo.

An interest you like to dabble in:
Photography. Been a while.

Do you know what a mud dauber is?
As many have answered, yes, it's a wasp. They build or daub a nest out of mud. Mud daubers
don't sting humans like other wasps - just the bugs they eat, but as HPR pointed out their
nests can be in places humans may find
inconvenient.

Someone named Deb or Debbie:
Reynolds, Boone, and snack cakes.

A place or situation you found yourself "smack dab in the middle of":
When I worked as a trucker I sometimes found myself smack dab in the middle of
nowhere with bad weather and miserable conditions. I loved driving, but not the hassles.

Bonus:
Have you called dibs on:
-A seat in a car? Shotgun!
-A remote control? Rarely, if there's something I really want to watch on the bigger TV.

-Food or drinks? Last piece of pizza! If someone else doesn't grab it first.
-Other?

Foodie Questions:
Peanut butter in the jelly or mayo in the mustard.
Have you double dipped spoons or knives in condiments or notice when others do?
I make an effort not to. I'd rather others didn't mix the mustard and mayo especially.

How do you feel about double dipping chips and dip?
So there are strong feelings about this.
The verdict seems to be it's okay with someone you kiss or wouldn't mind kissing.

Do you use or remember:
-Double mint gum? Good flavor.
-Carefree gum? Don't think I tried.
-Big red? Remember chewing as a kid.
-Dentyne? And this.
-Juicy fruit? A great flavor.
-Other gum, remind us? Fond memories of crunchy Chiclets.

I wish they made gum like they used. I'd love a good ol' pack of Chiclets or Wrigley's

Just for fun:
If you had a double, someone who looked just like you, what sneaky shenanigan
might you try - like send him/her as a substitute for you when or where?
First thought, dentist. Then boring meetings, uncomfortable social events. the sky's the limit.

Today Includes:
Howl at The Moon Night
Mule Day, stubborn as a

This Week Includes:

Today's Picture:
Up, up and away! A picture for our aviation fans. Double decker biplane, Germany, 2012.
That's my impression too, Magnum Mike, that this is a modern biplane.
Pretty cool taht they are still being manufactured.
