Do you like egg salad? It is OK as long as you leave the eggs out of it.
What do you like to have in or on scrambled eggs? You might as well toss on a bunch of yucky veggies. That way I don't have to make two trips to the trash can

I met a woman who was 96 at the time I met her (1959), so she would have been born during the Civil War. She was my grandparents' next-door neighbor, and she made the most wonderful doll clothes. Yes, last year I went to my high school's 50th.

feel uncomfortable? <---- Yes, when I saw an old friend, Norma, whose husband had been killed during a robbery at his jewelry store. It was the first time I'd seen her or talked to her since the murder. It was hard to know what to say. I wanted to tell Norma how sorry I was, but it seemed awkward to bring it up in that festive party environment, so I didn't say anything. We just smiled at each other and made small talk. Now I deeply regret not reaching out to her when I had the chance.

encounter any big surprises? <---- Yes, a classmate's widow was there even though her husband had just died weeks before, and she didn't even go to our school. That was another awkward conversation. We flipped through old yearbooks with her and shared our memories of Bud, who was a popular member of the football team and a regular at all the reunions.

When they finish their education, they move on into adulthood, and have friends at work or their hobby activities. Most people from HS or college also still live in the area, so there is no need for reunion, because they just see each other often in the town, and they know what most are doing.
