I'm stumped on what to get a lady that I dog, cat, and house sit for.
I would appreciate any ideas

I have done weekends for her before, but now I am doing a 2 week sit.
I am staying at her house and she is paying me.

I would like to give her a thank you gift for allowing me to do this job, plus a welcome home gift.

She has dogs that get into things, so.plants and flowers won't work.
Getting a treat for her dogs won't work cause they are on special diets.

She already has a good stock of wine.
She has a nice espresso machine, so a coffee gift card won't do.

Any ideas?

How about a nice 2 lb. box of premium chocolates? Or a tin of homemade cookies? Or luxury scented soaps?

You might find a nice baked item like a pecan pie, cookies or a cake that you could make yourself (in your home) or buy at a local bakery. She’ll have some goodies to munch on then when she arrives and she’ll enjoy them for several days. Fresh baked sticky cinnamon buns will work as well.

Thanks for the great ideas
I like the idea of having munchies for when she gets home
Her flight comes in at 530 pm after coming back from Italy, a long flight.

Atalanta as previous posters said you could bake her a cake, cookies, muffins, maybe make a homemade salsa or some handmade cards she can use for any special occasion. What I received recently as a thank you gift was a wooden tray filled with a variety of little tea and coffee samples,salty/sweet snacks, small jam jars, homemade chutney, some fancy crackers,a few thin bee wax candles. It was beautifully wrapped in clear paper with a pretty bow tie.

What about another puppy or a kitten? She would be so surprised.

What about a gift certificate from PetsMart? My boys have a better wardrobe then I do. They have sweaters, boots, and matching snow suits. They also get to pick out a toy every time we go. I bought a harness that lights up for the Yorkie. He disappears in the park at night and he's way easier to find with that light on. There's so many fun things for pets there.
