I can't stand something sounding "gritty." Like I can't stand the sound of a cardboard box being dragged across the ground, or a 12-pack of soda sliding along the refrigerator shelf.

I have this cute set of ceramic bowls that I bought for cereal, ice cream, etc. But the inside of them are somehow a little rougher than the smooth outside. The sound/feeling of the spoon being dragged over the inside surface of them gives me the chills.

Sounds that give you the ibby-jibbies

Your sitting there on a stormy rainy night thunder and lightning watching a old B Horror Movie from the 60's.. you have seen it a dozen time.. but it's been a while since the last time.. all snuggled up in your jammies and blanket .. bowl of pop corn.. and then you feel this cool breeze on your neck.... then out of the corner of your eye.. a slinky shadow moving over towards your left.. you look twice and see noting.. back to the movie... them slam.. the furnace comes on sucking air and slamming a door shut and another sound.. just can't figure it out. Sounds like keys jingling.. in the back bed room.. and you sit and ponder the movie... more sounds coming from the basement.. those sounds....
