Oh no! I love thunder. I can sleep like a baby while it's thundering. But one of those boom boxes comes through the neighborhood I can't think or sleep.
nails on a blackboard
people who constantly drum their fingers on desks
people who "pop" chewing gum
squeaky doors/gates/drawers
cars or motorcycles with truly loud custom exhausts
high pitched car/home alarms that remain unattended for minutes, sometimes hours on end!
I have extremely sensitive good hearing and any high pitched whistling sound gets to me and when someone is making weird sounds collecting the spit before spitting. Sorry I do not know how to explain this one.
Wow so many good ones, and some that get to me too, like someone smacking their lips while they eat, or that spoon scraping that soup bowl trying to get that last drop of soup, something about that spoon scraping sound, jeezus already! That rattler sound can be a not so pleasant sound as well... especially if you can only hear but not see where it's coming from. Thanks for the great responses!
