Great pictures Jezer. So many friends of mine visited Cuba and I am thinking to visit Cuba in the near future. I also wish you a smooth move to France. May you be happy in your new home.

Many thanks Alm.
There were a lot of Canadians both in Havana and on our cruise when we were there. There were quite a few Americans in the capital as well, but I never saw Fredo.
For those who don't know what that's about, and even for those who do, it is from one of the best movies ever made in my book;
Jezer, I was curious about something I saw in one of your photos. There's a large white building with a man's face outlined in black on the side. Below the man's face are the words "Vas bien Fidel." But the man looks nothing at all like Fidel Castro. So I looked it up. The man is Camilo Cienfuegos, a Cuban revolutionary hero and friend of Fidel Castro. Castro turned to Cienfuegos during a speech and said to him in Spanish, "How am I doing?" Cienfuego replied Vas bien, Fidel ("You're doing great, Fidel"), and that became a slogan of the revolution.

Yes Shep. That story you wrote about Cienfuegos was related to us when we were in Revolution Square. The giant mural is on the side of one of the government buildings.
My days of having a planner crammed with commitments is over. These days it's anywhere the wind blows spontaneity. I do have birthdays in my planner but half the time I forget to look at it. Doh!
Great pictures of Cuba Jezer. I'd love to go there.
It's the story of my life. I can never fit everything in and I'm always running myself ragged. My life is a logistics nightmare!
C'mon, retirement!
