Curious, though: Since strippers work in bars, should "no tipping" go ditto for them, too? I'd be curious to read input on this one.
Strippers work in bars? Naked? I'm innocent of so much in this world............ Where do they keep their tips?

We all like to tip for the "favors" or just plain old friendly service. We just prefer it was actually a gratuity and over and above their fully funded salaries. No tips for strippers.

As for maid service....what about the painters, electricians, plumbers, clerks, pool maintenance folk etc?

I just don't like the feeling of being obligated to tip and it has become an expectation. I haven't thought about the other types of work that is tipped. Mostly it's restaurants and bars that bother me because of the way it makes servers behave. Strippers? Interesting question. I don't know I guess not although I don't know their pay scale.
