[quote=younglisa7;44775785]Hello everyone….I hope you are all staying cool!!

It was a beautiful couple of days here but the heat returns today (Sunday) Yep sorry a day late but I tried to post this yesterday and the internet went down and I lost the whole thing. Doh!

Today’s Questions:
When was the last time you gave a gift?
Last week for Lucille's bday.
When was the last time you received a gift?
Maybe January for my bday.
Do you prefer to give/receive money, gift cards, flowers or a gift?
I prefer to give money for graduations and gifts from the registry for baby showers. Personally, I'd rather have an adventure then a gift. I don't like clutter.
Have you ever regifted something?
Yes
Did you get caught?
No and it was back to the person who gave it to me
Do you send thank you cards?
Almost never because I return the favor instead.
What do or would you do if you sent a gift and received no thank you…not even a verbal thank you?

Shrug and go about my day. I give gifts because I want that person to have it not because I want a thank you card. A verbal is just as good.

Extra Credit Questions
When you rather use pens with caps or pens that click? Click, especially when I was working.
Would you rather be underdressed or overdressed ? Under. I love going to this dive restaurant with great food in my snow gear and my helmet hair after skiing.
Would you rather listen to today’s music or older music ? That smokin 20's Dixieland jazz. I'm obsessed.
Would you rather be the opposite gender for a day or be a kid again for a day? Opposite gender. My inner child is still in total control.
Would you rather be a miserable genius or a happy moron? Happy moron.
Would you rather be a thief or a beggar? Beggar.
Would you rather be a ninja or a pirate? Ninja
Would you rather be stuck in a broken elevator or stuck on a ski lift? Ski lift although it gets really cold up there.
Would you rather change into someone else or just be you? Just be me. I like me
Would you rather be homeless or in prison? Homeless.
Would you rather know the truth or let some things stay a secret to you? The truth. I want to know exactly what I'm dealing with.
Would you rather be able to control your dreams or be able to watch them on video the next morning? Control, which I often am. I can usually go back and change them if I want to. I almost always know when I'm dreaming.

Bonus Questions:
These questions came about because I have been organizing around the house....and found all kinds of things I don’t use anymore, so:

Do you have a copy machine/printer?

Is it color?

Do you have a paper shredder? Mandatory in this day and age.

Can you find a ruler in your house?

Do you have a stapler?

How about a staple remover?

Do you have push pins or thumb tacks?....I do but don’t have anywhere to use them, lol. I use them a lot for Halloween.

Do you have any craft or finger paints? For stencils.

Best Ever Strawberry Spinach Salad

SERVES 6 | ACTIVE TIME 15 Minutes | TOTAL TIME 30 Minutes

Candied Pecan Ingredients

1 tablespoons butter
1 tablespoons packed light brown sugar
1/2 cup pecan halves

Dressing Ingredients
2 tablespoons granulated sugar
1/4 cup extra light tasting olive oil
1/4 cup white wine vinegar
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
2 garlic cloves, minced
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper

Salad Ingredients
10 ounces fresh baby spinach - rinsed, dried and torn into bite-size pieces
1/4 small red onion sliced
1 quart fresh strawberries, hulled and quartered
1/2 cup fresh blueberries
1/2 avocado, cut into bite sized pieces
1/2 (5 ounce) package blue cheese crumbles

Thanks Lisa. Sorry I missed you yesterday but Lucille came by just after I tried to post and the internet went down. We also wanted to finish staining and water sealing the decks before the rain was supposed to come tonight but came this morning instead. Yeah the decks were still wet.
