What do or would you do if you sent a gift and received no thank you…not even a verbal thank you? If it happened I'd probably ask if they received it. I don't recall that happening to me/us yet.

Today’s Questions: When was the last time you gave a gift? June 12. I gave my sister a gift I purchased for her while on vacation in Jamaica.
When was the last time you received a gift? Easter. My neighbor always makes a little Easter basket of goodies for me and leaves it on my front porch. Isn't that sweet?
Do you prefer to give/receive money, gift cards, flowers or a gift? It depends on the giver and the occasion. I usually prefer to give gifts that can be opened (as opposed to cash or gift card) for occasions such as Christmas and birthdays. I like to receive tangible gifts as well. It's almost becoming a lost tradition for people to put thought and effort into finding the right gift for someone. I realize some people prefer cash or gift cards, and I adjust my giving depending on how well I know the person and whether I know what sorts of things the person likes. For graduations I give cash and sometimes a gift of something for the dorm room if the grad is going off to college. For weddings, I buy gifts from the registry for both the shower and the wedding.
How's that for a long-winded answer? *haha*
Have you ever regifted something? Nope. I don't like the thought of it. If I've received a gift I really can't use but think a friend can use, I'll be up front with the friend. I'll tell the friend that I received the item as a gift and can't use it and ask if they'd like to have it. I would never pass off something as a gift if I didn't actually choose and purchase it myself.

What do or would you do if you sent a gift and received no thank you…not even a verbal thank you? I'd think twice before giving the person a gift again. However, this happened many times over the years with my nephews and my godchildren. I continue to give them Christmas and birthday gifts until they turned 18. After 18 I decided if they couldn't make the effort to even acknowledge receipt of a gift I'd given them, then there would be no more gifts. (All but one live far away from me and gifts were always mailed.)

Would you rather be stuck in a broken elevator or stuck on a ski lift? Ski lift. I feel claustrophobic in elevators and like to get off of them asap. Would you rather know the truth or let some things stay a secret to you? Depends on what the situation is, how serious it is, etc. Can't really answer this question. Would you rather be able to control your dreams or be able to watch them on video the next morning? Watch on video. Almost all of my dreams that I recall are happy ones, or at least benign.

When was the last time you gave a gift? Yesterday. I shared some of my chocolate biscuits with my work colleagues (okay, so not technically a gift per se. If we're talking proper gifts, then I would say a month ago and a friend's b'day)
When was the last time you received a gift? A couple of days ago from Microsoft (okay, technically a Microsoft Certification isn't a gift per se, lol. If we're talking proper gifts I would say 2 months ago when my now ex girlfriend bought me some perfume)
Do you prefer to give/receive money, gift cards, flowers or a gift? I think money in both directions is the easy (lazy) option primarily because the recipient can decide for themselves exactly what to spend it on. i certainly prefer the money, but still appreciate any gift or token. (Less so on flowers because I'm not really a flower person. Moreover, flowers only have a short lifespan before they fade and die. Which to my mind has allegorical or metaphorical references)

Did you get caught? No because this "gift" wasn't the sort of gift you want made public!
Do you send thank you cards? Cards, letters, emails/texts, depending on the circumstances

I would be annoyed, especially if the gift was relatively expensive and I'd spent some time thinking about what kind of gift to get. But generally I wouldn't let it bother me too much (bit it would tick a box in my mind for future reference)_
