My husband. He's always trying to "help." Seriously, I guess it would have to be the meat fork with steel tines and a handle made out of what looks like bone or deer antlers or something. It probably dates back to the 1940s or 1950s.

1. Do you have recurring dreams of places people or things? Oh yes, all the time. One recurring dream is that I have just moved into a house that is very spacious but has rooms in it occupied by other people that I've forgotten existed. Another one is that I am at a hotel in Europe somewhere. I am aware of having stayed longer than I planned to and want to go home. I'm packing my suitcase, but my husband isn't ready to leave yet. 2.Do you own a leather jacket? I have a wheat-colored suede jacket. I hardly ever wear it because it's a light color, shows every little speck of dust, and it's a *#&%# to clean.
3.Have you ever adopted a pet on a whim? Not on a whim, but a on two occasions I heard about a parakeet (budgie) that was unwanted and went on to adopt him.
4. Have you ever gone to the house you grew up in...knocked... and they let you look around? Yes, I went to the house where I lived until I was six and my parents divorced. (After that I never lived in the same place for more than a year or two until I was a freshman in high school, so there isn't any one house where I grew up.) The people who lived there let me in, and I was amazed at how small the house was compared to how I remembered it. There was a little blonde girl riding a tricycle in front of the house who looked very much like me at that age, which was kind of spooky.
5.Do you drink energy drinks? No, but I drink protein drinks after workouts as a substitute for snacks. My only "energy drink" is coffee!
6.Did you call your parent's friends AUNT AND UNCLE so and so when younger or growing up? No, I called them either by their first names or Mr./Mrs. So-and-So.
7. Do you like to window shop or get what you need and scram? I love to window shop but I'm shy about going inside unless I'm pretty sure I'm going to buy something. A book group friend of mine who worked in her mother's resale shop said it really bothered her when browsers came in, looked around and then left without buying.That comment made me even more self-conscious that I normally am about going into a shop and feeling the owner's eyes on me.

9. Does it bother you to drive through unfamiliar places? Not too much if the neighborhood isn't scary and if I have a map or a GPS. It's interesting to see new places.
