I'm wondering if this summer will be dry enough here on the South Plains to go back to using my swamp cooler instead of my expensive, and very heavy, window ACs.

I'm thinking about stinging nettles, or to be more precise, viruses that attack stinging nettles.

Okay, I'm an odd person, I still think nettles have their place, but it seems at least thirty percent of mine have some odd virus that causes yellowing and stunted growth.

Caterpillars need food, and the way this is spreading, there won't be enough.

Not sure about boys, but I know when I was at school a mere 8 or 9 years ago, our skirts were short-ish. But these days they look more like belts!

Anyway - this morning I am thinking about what do with the forthcoming bank holiday weekend
