I'm currently thinking about my grand daughter. She is facing a fairly traumatic health event right now. Although I believe she will fair okay since she has faced much worse in her short life, prayers are requested.
I'm thinking about how stressed out I am right now about moving and other major life changes that are occurring at this time. SO many "what ifs....?" are clouding my thoughts that it does feel overwhelming. I'm praying for peace and clarity.

Thinking back on this day's biggest event. A call from a friend, asking I would help her get rid of a rat. Anyone I know??? I asked. Turned out to be the kind with fur and a long tail. yuck
Seeing that her garbage was collected yesterday, my thoughts about leaving this thing in a bag all week, baking in temps over 95 degrees ... well, not something that would end well.
I offered to bury it for her. Don't laugh, it's been done.
So, I dug a hole about a foot deep, picked it up by the tail using pliers, of course, and dropped it in. I asked if she'd like to say a few final words but all she said was "Shut up Mars, just do it!" Filled the hole in and now just praying some cat, with super sensitive smell, doesn't decide to dig it up. Thankful that she doesn't have any dogs, either. Just another day in crazyville.

AhHa! Sounds like the squeamish bunch around here. Any little bug... I have to take care of it. Too bad the cat doesn't earn it's keep like the dog. The dog drags a squirrel up to the back door every other day that he's outsmarted. The cat runs from just about everything but the dog. I'm thinking about telling the cat I'm going to quit feeding the dog.

I'm sorry to hear that HPR and I hope she gets better. I'll pray for her.
Wondering if the washer is finished and I can place items in the dryer and start another load.
