27C in the shade here!

Not bad for England, but we need something a bit more challenging - ie mid to highs 30s would be rather nice
Yes, it's like that here today. It's about 25°C and it's supposed to be 28°C tomorrow. It's too bloody hot now! I moan when it's too cold, and I moan when it's too hot - there's just no pleasing me!

But yeah, I'm not cooking something in the oven in this weather. It will have to be a salad again (which I really like, actually). Raw cauliflower - nice!

That's the true British spirit Star....... we moan when it's cold, and we moan when it's hot........ Judy and I are driving over to Blackpool tomorrow. "It'll be nice to have a stroll on the prom, in the sunshine David....." she trilled. Yeah, right.........

Still, some fish and chips will hit the spot.........

You'll only be going on the hottest day of the year so far! Don't forget your sun cream, will you? You'll come back home looking like a lobster otherwise!

I haven't been to Blackpool for years. As you probably know, it used to be THE place to go to, as a child, to see the illuminations (this was before cheap hols to Spain etc). I've been to the top of the Tower too!

I just hope it hasn't got a bit too chavy now, as I've heard about people going there for stag/hen parties and messing around. But you'll still have a nice time there hopefully.

Fish and chips, whilst out strolling (on the now concreted area?!) - I'll be jealous!
