I just about crashed and burned when M.A.S.H aired its final episode.
I felt the same way with the final episode of China Beach. Those folks were "my" generation and I identified with it and them.
Back in the early 60s there was a new soda available. It was called "Pommac" It tasted like what I thought champagne might taste like. I loved it. I'm not even sure it was a nationwide release but it was popular in west Texas. I suppose I was addicted. All of a sudden it was no longer available. That's when I switched to Dr. Pepper. But, I still miss Pommac.
I'm with you, Ketabcha, about M*A*S*H. My first thought was that I went through major withdrawal when M*A*S*H was canceled back in 1982. It was the best TV series ever produced. Fortunately, I have all 11 seasons plus the original movie and the final 2-hour episode on DVD. I watch episodes frequently.
I'm also with those who say they go through withdrawal when chocolate is scarce. If I go a few days with out chocolate, I feel as though I'm going to go bonkers!

How long has it been since you've had your shirt off in the sun? Maybe if you take your shirt off, throw on some skin tight black jeans, and frolic around the condo, you'll gain your rightful place at the head of the queue.
I'm so white that a pair of blue jeans would create a good enough contrast........

That reminds me, I will have to start gathering up the M A S H episodes, I did watch those but I watched television back then and it is one of Mr. CSD's favorite programs.
I'm having bacon and eggs withdrawal today, I have eggs but no bacon, I should just go with waffles or pancakes.
The last few months I have been craving carbs and I have made a decision to quit eating carbs as much as possible.
It has been 24 hours since I have had any and I am certain I will not be able to function much longer without those carbs.
