Mrs Jezer here, Jezer has had to go and sort out his Mum and has intermittent signal (she has no internet) ...
so today's POTD is, geographic areas with poor 3G signal!!
Good morning, Mrs. J. hopefully Jezer can get his mom back online. Internet is one thing I have to have - use it for work and to stream all my TV. There are times though when it has issues and very annoying trying to get work done when it's cutting in and out.
Hello Mrs Jezer, it's very nice to meet the brains in the partnership at last.
Hmm... poor 3G/4G/mobile internet in general is sadly the curse that we who live in the more rural areas must have to pay in order to avoid the worst of the rat race. It doesn't bother me that much to be honest as I rarely need it, my wife however? It drives her nuts!
I feel your pain, as I liveout in the boonies and have only two options for internet: dial-up and satellite. Even though I've "upgraded" to Gen4, it's still sloooooooow as molasses and when the weather is bad, so is the connection.
In addition, there are only two cell companies that provide service to my address (although surrounding areas pull in signals from several carriers), and that service is sporadic.
Good morning Mrs J. and I hope your day goes well. It's no fun not having a good signal and my service provider seems to have a poor one in many areas as well.
Hi Mrs J! I know about poor signals! When I moved from Dallas to Florida, my Sprint cell phone wouldn't pick up a signal until I was two miles from my house. So I closed that account that cost more than $100 a month and bought a cheap pay-as-you-go and it worked anywhere.
