Howdy doody, kids! Today's Tip is a really good one and comes to us from Dark of the Moon. (Thanks, Dark!) Scroll on down and check it out.
DOGGY DISTRACTION
"For those of us with dawgies, it can be difficult getting them to stand in place while giving them a bath. However, if you smear a little peanut butter on the wall, they'll happily lick it off, staying busy (and in one place) while you finish scrubbing them.
You'll want to make sure that you use a non-toxic cleaner on the wall, and rinse it well before smearing on the peanut butter."
How's that for an excellent idea? Even for those of us who don't have pups, we all know someone we can share this with who may find it very helpful!

I always keep a jar of peanut butter in the shower! I wish it would work on cats! How about when you squirt that ear medicine in their ears....? Thanks Pam and Dark of the Moon...name sounds familiar. Dogs are easy cats are hard!

You don't need to bathe cats! I suppose if you do, you could try smearing tuna on the wall! *haha*

Now you tell me.... I've bathed many cats. Some are not bad and some will rip you to shreds. Surprisingly our cats never seem to like canned tuna very much. I bet those cat tongues could get that soap scum and hard water deposits of the shower door.
Every cat I have ever tried to bathe has gone ballistic when the water touched them! I spent more in bandages for myself than for someone else to do it! lol
Man my dawgs are tired every night, maybe I should smear some peanut butter on them when I shower, oh wait the news is on and they say there is a peanut butter recall going on now, oh nutz it was a good thought...
Luckily ours quite likes being bathed, though it's usually done outside with a hosepipe- garden hose.
