Also, keep in mind I'm 6'2 and built like an M1 battle tank, and my friend is, again, 6'8, so it looks MUCH smaller than it normally does. When I ride with the top down and sit straight up, my head is higher than the windscreen

Down here there are some BIG bugs that splatter on my windshield...I wouldn't want those things smackin' me in the head.
When I took my car for a test drive I told the salesman to show me something different...I couldn't reach the pedals comfortably. Then he showed me that magic little button to move the pedals...wooo hooo! lol

Heh, yes, I have had bugs, dust, etc. hit me in the head before. I usually slink down in the seat a little bit to avoid all this. Thankfully, no huge bugs around here...
My biggest problem is the size of my feet:
They're too long and too wide for the pedals in many cars I was actually shocked that I had enough space in the footwell of my S2k...
