Good morning peevers and welcome to the weekend.

As I type the sun has just made an appearance, so fingers crossed.

It was our 20th wedding anniversary a few days ago and Mrs J bought a personalised plant container for the garden.

We'll be off to the garden centre (yes spellcheck, centre ) to decide what to plant in it over the weekend.

Ah- inspiration for today's peeve!

The POTD is;

People forgetting important dates/anniversaries.

Happy late anniversary Jezer! Seems a lot of people I know always forget my birthday but I've gotten used to it, birthdays aren't a big deal anymore anyway. But when it comes to couples (which I'm not a part of any longer) it's pretty important to remember anniversaries/birthdays.....you can spend a lot of time in the doghouse otherwise.

I am good at remembering important dates/anniversaries, I just don't feel the need to, except for a select few. And those I never forget.

Mine is people expecting me to remember hundreds of birthdays/anniversaries, and acting like they remember birthdays when all they really did was check Facebook.

I used to be really good at remembering birthdays, and now I'm just not. All the desire to remember them is there, but I just can't remember them. I don't think it's fair to hold that against people.

Facebook will always tell you when a bday is coming up and I write them down in my planner. As for our anniversary we were married on 6/9. I thought DH will never forget that one. It will be 27 yrs. next month and he never has forgotten.
