Back when I was new in my career we had a very difficult patient that was rude, obnoxious, and inappropriate while dealing with staff. I was talking with a fellow co-worker about said patient being back with us and I said "I wish he would just die." Five minutes later: Code Blue room 1234. We looked at each other and my co-worker said that's patient X's room. He expired and some superstitious co-workers were teasing me about it for weeks. Karma, good timing, or something else?
