Dave, I remember when we visited parts of Europe in 1966, there was a plumbing fixture in the bathroom called a bedday (I'm not sure if it's spelled correctly) with water faucets. You can sit on it, turn the faucets and water is sprayed up on the areas for cleaner hygiene. Do they still use those in England and Europe?
I don't think they ever used bidets in England, but they still do in Western European counntries like France, Italy, Spain & Portugal. They also have them in South America. Most public bathrooms abroad that I have seen have stalls which you cannot see any part of the person at all.
In Japan, they have noise making things that muffle any sound that you might be making.
