It makes no difference to me because they are both sanitary cleaning products. However, because we were conditioned that anything associated with the toilet is bad and should be avoided, I expect that some people still cling to their early learning.

No. Not because it's not clean but because you'd look a bit weird sitting at a restaurant with a bog roll sitting on the table. Why would you want to?

What are we wiping?
Why would we have a roll of TP handy to do said wiping?

no i would not use toilet paper in puplic...they've got two kinds of paper one for the entrance and one for the exit!!!! the exit tends to be unpredictable

Well, don't all us girls know that there is never any tp in the "ladies room"..I am more likely to have a wad of tp somewhere in my purse than a pack of those tiny little kleenex I have reached into my purse many times in public and pulled out some tp to catch a sneeze..or wipe my mouth..
