Good morning peevers.

After a couple of wet ones, it's a lovely sunny crisp morning out there.

I've had this post open for around a quarter of an hour and keep stopping to sort various things out, like someone dropping something off- actually it was a dog!

I've also had to go find something for Miss J who has now rushed off.

Ever had those times where you never seem to finish the thing you started out to do? Well we're going to find out because the POTD is;

Constantly getting interrupted.

By the way, nothing to do with the POTD, but one or two of you have mentioned how you get to hear of new words that we use here but aren't used in the US in my thread.

There was one word that my wife used in front of a load of Americans who gave her a blank look.

I won't tell you what it means straight away, but the word was fortnight.

I wonder how many of you know what that is without having to look it up?

Ahhhh! The fortnight! I know! I know!
Only 'cause I'm from an English family....granddad was a scouse.

It seems that I am constantly being interrupted in doing the project I am currently working on! Drives me bonkers!

This is the story of my life. I'd probably keel over if I actually finished one thing without being interrupted a zillion times.

Yeesh, don't get me started. I am the "go-to" girl in this household. Anything to do with bills, paperwork, appointments, book/record keeping blah, blah, blah, it get's dumped on me. Since I apparently have all this leisure time when they go off to work/school.

So sometimes when I'm on the phone, computer or whatever, taking care of their cr*p, I get interrupted to go take care of some more of their cr*p!!!!

So yes I get interrupted a lot!!!!

A dog dropped something off? Must be an awfully smart pooch!

Good peeve, Jezer. I'm not very good at multi-tasking and hate being interrupted when I'm trying to concentrate on something.
