That happened in Calif a few times, one day I was driving back to the high desert and stopped for fuel and noticed a station where people were lined up like crazy. I was low on fuel so took my chance in getting off and waiting in line. When it was my turn, it was easy to see why....some computer glitche had the pumps at about a dollar a gallon and people were calling everyone they knew to tell them about it, thats why the long line.

We don't get anything special when our gas goes up.......

I don't see how you guys afford the $9 a gallon. I guess if we had better public transportation it would be do-able...I don't know.

^^^ Europe has better public transportation then the US which helps many citizens there. So you don't have to drive cars and pay for gas. Own a bike, walk, and take public transportation is much less money.

I wonder what we’re paying per gallon for gas when you ADD the government subsidies that we pay the oil companies into the price at the pump?

Woo hoo!

(I feel kind of sorry for the station owner, though, because that was a huge loss.)
