Happy Monday!

While we all wait for the return of Pam, here's a safe link that is fun.

It's a place called Pogo...it's been around for ages and they have lots of free games and also games that you can access through a small membership fee.

I play lots of them and I like Word Whomp, plus some others. You earn tokens for playing, which you save up for fun but you can also enter the daily drawings using them....and you can win real cash prizes, too - even as a non-paying member (you need to register - it's free to register.)

I don't know how many of you are already aware of Pogo, so I thought at least some of you will like it!

We post quite a few promo lists in the Freebie forum for free POGO tokens. Sometimes companies give away thousands of them. My daughter has been playing on that site for years.

Pogo is a good site. I usually play the card games, Spades, etc.

Wow, I've got the days and dates all out of whack lately....I've been working a lot.

I'm glad you folks like Pogo, too!

It's nice to get some free fun. Looks like we're about the only ones to enjoy it. This daily thread usually gets about 26 responses. I got a whopping 3. I really appreciate you friends that posted! Thank you!

This sounds like lots of fun! When I clicked on the link, though, I got a warning that said "This website wants to run the following add-on: 'JavaWebStart Module' from 'Sun Microsystems, Inc. (unverified publisher)'. Roosty, I know you only use sites that you know are completely safe, but warnings like this make me a little nervous because I'm never sure what's okay and what's not okay to download. I trust that this particular one is fine or else you wouldn't recommend it. However, when this warning comes up on other things I might want to download, I usually just exit the site because I'm not sure which add-ons are safe and which aren't. Any advice on that?

I'm going to check out Pogo! A game named "Word Whomp" must be fun! What a funny name!

Thanks for the link!

As a kid (too many years ago) we didn’t need computer games and online services to have fun. I’d phone several of the other kids in the neighborhood to come over, drink a bottle of coke, go to the basement and listen to 45’s on the record player and played “spin the bottle”. This provided hours of fun!!!!!
