Good morning peevers.

I'm heading out with Miss J today as she has an open day at a University that has given her a conditional offer of a place in October.

She could drive herself but the weather is not nice- a bit icy, and there are steep hills where we are going, and parking can be an issue the other end. Anyway, I'll spend a bit of time with my 'little' girl.

Let's try that for a peeve today;

Lack of suitable parking for where you're going.

I agree there! One thing I can say about here is our Super Walmart has so much parking and such a small town, it seems the parking lot is never ever more than 20 cars. You might find the lot about 1/4 full...on a busy day!

I am still surprised at how poorly some parking lots are designed. But if there are more cars than parking spots..what can you do?? Enjoy your day with Miss J. and drive safe on that ice, Jezer. Good peeve.

I am in a mountain town and it has the poorest planning for the buildings and parking lots. Of course the Super Walmart and the grocery stores are fine but forget about the downtown retailers.

Be careful driving today Jezer.

This is tough!!! I'm very picky about my vehicle and where it's parked. Hospital parking lots are the worst!!!! I hate parking spaces that are not wide enough........door dings.

Parking is when I realize how lucky I am to be fully dependent on public transportation! Lol.

Last time this happened was at Christmas time at the local mall! Couldn't find parking for 15 minutes! Was meeting a friend for lunch. Next time no mall LOL

Slightly off topic, but in the ballpark - traffic wardens!! I had an appointment in town
today, which would take half an hour or so. Judy got a magazine, and said she would
wait in the car for me. I told her not to get a parking ticket, as I would'nt be long.
I was gone longer than I exectd, almost an hour. When I got back Judy said she had to
buy a ticket as FOUR separate wardens had been round the small car park since I left.
This is in a town, like many others in England, struggling to bring in shoppers, with many
empty shops. All that happens when you haress people like this is they go to out of town
shopping centres like the Trafford Centre, where parking is free. It just does'nt make
sense!!

I really puts me off going to a place that doesn't have enough parking, especially in bad weather.
