What servers get paid depends upon the area. I cannot recall the hourly pay here in Minnesota, but it's at least 6 dollars an hour. Many places that have "hosts or hostesses" pay them more - my son & his girlfriend earned 8 dollars an hour doing that (because they didn't get tips). Most of the places that they have worked pay those curbside folks more because they don't get tips. In fact, one of their host(ess) jobs required them to give up the tips if someone insisted upon giving them one (meaning, to the pool of tips for the servers). Let's just face it - neither 6 nor 8 dollars an hour is "good" pay - so don't think that's what I am saying. And, frankly, unless I change my mind - I still don't think I'd tip the curbside folks (but, that's hardly relevant because I don't have a car to drive up to the curb with... lol). Honestly, money is tight for me too - in my old neighborhood I'd sometimes treat myself to a burger & fried from Greenmill - I ordered it for pickup on purpose - because I couldn't afford the tip required to sit down & eat. I'm not cheap, but all my richness is in spirit not in dollars.
okay, Joe, you lost me - what pictures you were posting? Porn, what? *head spinning*
MJ, and Arctic Kitten had thread wars on here everyday, and with all the remarks and pictures we put up. I was the one that was reprimanded and was charged (CORRECTION IT WAS 1 point) for inappropriate Language

UPS guys,,,, they don’t stay long enough at the door when they drop things off! Most of the time the truck comes down the street slowly and they kick the package out the side door near the driveway. After two or three bounces it (the package) gets ½ way to the front door. Most of them rattle when I pick them up to bring them into the house.
Tip? UPS For what? Drivers with hairy legs, kicking boxes out of moving vehicles don’t get tips.

that's true, they don't even make me sign for packages anymore, they just toss em and run. Next they'll be dropping them in our yards by airplane - forget the processing center

If a package arrives undamaged I almost want to ask them to take it back – it’s not damaged yet, can you drive over it please. Who do they (UPS) think they are “Fedx Ground” so something ~ they never damage my packages.
Are you supposed to tip the guy on the street cart who serves you a hotdog?
