Why so many bullies on message boards ? (senior, topics, people)

Having been recently subjected to one such bully...I decided to google the situation and found this article.
It says it all. That the bullies are actually cowards because they know if they said such snide things to your face, you'd most likely slap theirs.
IMO most internet message boards don't help matters when they refuse to tell the victims whether the bully was suitably chastised, or when they refuse to let the victims stand up to the bullies themselves.
He might have meant OT - this section of the board tends to be more low key and light hearted.
Mostly true, but if someone is in need of help this is as good a place as any to seek it. And no, I didn't mean the original post was OT. I meant my reference to the drunk kitchen was.

I was referring to when you said "You won't have to put up with that here"...as in OT (Other Topics) tends not to have as many posters who will hound someone or get all huffy...usually
