Personal note
I got a few notes asking about my shoulder surgery
(thanks for the good wishes & suggestions )

I have been going to Physical Therapy the last month for it and when that wasn't helping they did a MRI a week ago
When I went to "ortho doc" for the results I found out I have 2 tears and some bone impediment
With as much stuff as I do they are worried that it could completely tear which would be a more difficult surgery
So they scheduled it for Aug 25th
SORRY TO READ YOU ARE STILL HAVING SHOULDER PROBLEMS,KARLA. I'M WISHING YOU ALL THE BEST WITH YOUR UPCOMING SURGERY.
lol I don't know who will need the pain pills more me or my poor hubby who will be making sure I don't do anything the first 5 days
I am not good at doing nothing

Happy Hump Day To All.

Today's Question(s):

lol Last thing you read or heard that had you saying
"Seriously" or "you have to be kidding me" ?

The NLS stopped printing braille Playboy for a few months, in an attempt to save money, which was then quickly ruled unconstitutional and resumed. Lol. Can't keep blind people away from their porn.

(other than political )

Bonus Question:

Do you own a Bicycle ? Nope.

It is a
Fancy one with lots of gears ?
Old fashion pedal kind ?

Last time you used it ? Years ago. It had 3 gears.

Extra Credit Question:

Yup I would qualify for the "Pulitzer Prize" when it comes to
1. …………………………….
2. ….

Just for Fun:

What was the last reminder note you left for yourself ? I don't leave myself reminder notes cause I can't see to be reminded of them so that kind of kills the whole "reminder" effect.

How about for someone else ? Awhile ago. I usually send reminder emails. Pen and paper is so 20th century.

Word of the Day:
jointure \JOIN-cher\ , noun;
1. Property given to a woman upon marriage, to be owned by her after her husband's death.

Now that really is so 20th century. Wait--no--more like 19th century.

Running thru my head was...I'm late! I'm late! For a very important date! And I realized I hadn't done this yet!

Today's Question(s):

lol Last thing you read or heard that had you saying
"Seriously" or "you have to be kidding me" ?

My SIL telling me that she couldn't be with DH today because she has to attend faculty orientation at her work (one of the local colleges) and she had already missed two days of it.
I knew this was this week and asked her on Sunday if I needed to adjust my schedule to accomodate this....she at, that time, kept shrugging her shoulders saying I don't know. You would think she would have check that long before the last day of orientation!
She's 53..not a young kid either!

Bonus Question:

Do you own a Bicycle ? yup
It is a
Fancy one with lots of gears ?
Old fashion pedal kind ?
Last time you used it ? Yesterday...I used the handlebars for a clothes rack

Extra Credit Question:

Yup I would qualify for the "Pulitzer Prize" when it comes to
1. patience
2. eye rolling

Just for Fun:

What was the last reminder note you left for yourself ? Eye appointments..yesterday.

How about for someone else ? See above..we got at the same time.

Personal note
I got a few notes asking about my shoulder surgery
(thanks for the good wishes & suggestions )

So they scheduled it for Aug 25th

I sure wish DH was feeling better, I could come up and help you out...I'll pray for your DH instead.

Have a great day everyone!

lol there is a "cool" front coming through it is only suppose to be 93 today rofl where are my sweaters
It's only supposed to be 84 in Chicagoland. You'd need a parka here!

I am excited I just found out I may be able to do online transfers for work

Today's Question(s):
lol Last thing you read or heard that had you saying
"Seriously" or "you have to be kidding me" ?
Remember yesterday when I said people were coming out of the woodwork to "friend" me on FaceBook? Got more than one Friend Request from people I wasn't "allowed" to hang out with in school because I wasn't "cool" enough! (shhhh...not gonna "friend" them!)

(other than political )
I'll save that for the P&OC Forum!

Bonus Question:

Do you own a Bicycle ?
Sure do!

It is a
Fancy one with lots of gears ? It is a 10-speed, but I've seen much fancier.
Old fashion pedal kind ?

Last time you used it ?
Saturday. I try to bike to the local Farmer's Market on Saturday monnings. May use it again today to go to the hardware store.

Extra Credit Question:

Yup I would qualify for the "Pulitzer Prize" when it comes to
1. All the reminder notes I've had to write to myself over the years!
2. The book I've got inside of me that I haven't written (that's everyone, right?!?!)

Just for Fun:

What was the last reminder note you left for yourself ?
I'm always leaving myself notes, or I'd never get anything done!

How about for someone else ?
Hubby's got a great memory, don't have to leave notes for him. No one else really to leave notes for.

Today in History:
1835 - Solymon Merrick patents the wrench Glad of it! May need one today: gutting my bathroom to "personalize" it (new paint, wainscotting, etc.)! May involve taking out the toilet temporarily!
1891 - Electric self-starter for automobile patented I guess I thought it came later than that!
1859 - 1st air mail (in a balloon) took off from Lafayette Ind with over 100 letters for people in New York City. Well, the mail was late, it only got 27 miles out of town before being forced to land. Well, that'd be Indiana for ya!
1903 - Joe Pulitzer donated $1 million to Columbia U and so begins the Pulitzer Prizes
1978 - 1st successful crossing of the Atlantic by balloon (3 Americans)

Word of the Day:
jointure \JOIN-cher\ , noun;

Today is:
National Vanilla Custard Day Mmmmmmmmm!
Davy Crockett Day
National Thriftshop Day I love thriftshops!!!
Wrench Day Don't Crush that Dwarf, Hand me the Pliers. Oh, wrench...that's different.
Self starter Day Self-starters won't, leakproof seals will.
Meaning of "Is" Day A small, but very deep word...I'l have to think on this one a while...
Pulitzer Prize Day
